Um desengate a recordar

will discuss the answers of the questions I asked in my previous blog when I get back to the series.... Three blogs from the one today will be about an event... live blogging as it is called.

Also check out the pictures that I will be putting up according to what I have written...

I know it has been a really long while... But did I ever mention that it is going to be regular?
Enough of seeming smart Alec remarks! I was on a vacation for a long time. 16 days to be exact (Saturdays and Sundays included). Reason for the vacation was too much "Hard work" and more importantly a decision that it was high time I do my masters, which required some hard work.
All good things come to an end and this did too... But in the most energetic and memorable fashion.

I will now try to describe probably the most cherished 60 hours of my life (Sounds a little extolled, doesn't it? Well! it is supposed to)

One has to keep in mind that "huge amount of planning" , "hordes of misunderstandings" and "a blatant lie" were a part of the plans that went into making these 60 hours memorable.

It all started at 17.00 hours on 27th October 2006. I get a call that Mals and Night are just about to reach the famed, fort like built, yet extremely vulnerable "Reservation Complex" at rathifile in Secunderabad.
I reach there and realise that Neither Mals nor Night had reached, I decided to do what we had come to the reservation complex for, which was to cancel Mals' ticket from Bangalore to Hyderabad. I went through into the fort, surprisingly there were very few people. Directly went to the counter where they book tickets with Plastic money. Needless to say that the same counter cancels tickets previously booked with Plastic money. Once I was done with the Cancelling the ticket, I walk out. And what do I see? A beautiful face, standing beside a face with very sharp features... As I draw closer I realise that the beautiful face was well! Mals... (Sigh!) and the one with sharp features - night(She calls me her brother btw!).

I guess I have always exuded the vibes of being someone who gives gyan all the time. Night must have sensed those vibes and she comes to me and asks me if she should book tickets for an earlier train from Bangalore to Vellore to the one that was already booked. Reason... It was the birthday of one of her close friends and she had to attend it.... I the usual gyan guru told her to get her priorities right and she finally decided to spend less time with her cousins and more with her friend. So we walk in again, cancel another ticket and book a new one. All this under the auspices plastic money! (:P)...
Once this was done we started towards Kachiguda station where the all important and supposedly interesting journey to Bangalore was to begin. We reach the station around 18.25 and Mals is terrified on sighting certain lesser privileged souls and decides not to disembark from the car till all my other friends come in. Which they did eventually and which she did eventually too... (Compound statement... just to confuse :D)
Once my other friends reach they tell me that a man who has driven in Hyderabad for most part of his life got confused with the route and went through the same circle twice, without even realising it... Kudos to the IIT brain.... And so we all reach the station, and have the first round of introductions, which were pleasant I guess... After the IITian bought his platform ticket we settled into the train compartment. We were totally 6 of us. But one of our seats was a little far away from the coupe in which the other 5 had theirs. In any case we decided not to sleep that night. So it really did not matter. Once the IITian bid farewell and the train started, it was time to gorge on the Pizza's which Beeks, Mother Teresa and Sweet money had bought.
Mother Teresa for reasons known to her and her only was adamant that she eat non veg. (she normally eats vegetarian only). Please note the name Mother Teresa. You will realise that she did many "UNMOTHERLY" activities in Bangalore. :P

Once we had the Pizzas it was time for some Cards. The card games happened - UNO was the game that was played. As time went by the Aunty and Uncle who were sharing the other seats in our coupe wanted to rest their back and so out came the berth holders and up swung the back rests of seats which double up as the Middle Berth.
Positions shift, all of us move to the upper berths. Beeks, Teresa and me on one. Sweet Money, Night and Mals on the other. it is time for Dum-charades now. and what revelations we had.
We realised that our team was a little too good for the other team. And so we decided to re assemble the teams. Mals, Night and me in one team and Beeks, Teresa and Sweet money in the other. Now was the time for revelations... And if you ask what they were... here you go...

1. Mals is a really bad actor... I know she was bad. but she is worse than I thought.
2. Beeks and me know the same set of movies
3.Teresa and Sweet Money are experts at ignoring everyone in their team and the members of
the opposite team they have more fun playing dumb-charades between themselves!
4. Beeks reads India Today so that he can know the names of all the B and C grade movies
released in that month
5. Two must watch, must know movies in Hindi are -
a) Ghar mein ho saali to har roj diwali
b) Basanti ki shaadi aur Gabbar ki suhag raat

After we were enlightened by these revelations we decided to stop the game and were chatting with no end at all. And might feels sleepy and so we give her one of the upper berths to sleep on and Mals and me shifted to the Side upper berth. Suddenly Teresa gets the urge to go and stand at the door of the compartment, which she does. Sweet Money and I follow her. We stand there for quite some time and in the process do what we are best at... laugh and crack silly jokes. And now is the time when Uncle Anger gets hyper and start banging the false wall which is present on one side of a berth. Reason being we were disturbing his sleep... We took a pic of his... Mals and Beeks also joined us and then we all took pictures. After a while Sweet Money also felt sleepy and she went on to the middle berth and slept. As time went on Mals and me and Beeks and Teresa started talking... I was catching up with Mals for all the times that we missed being together. Beeks and Teresa were also talking to each other. Around 1 in the morning we realise we do not have water to drink and that is when the train arrives at Gooty. Mals and I decide to check if there is water and so we get down and go a fair distance. But find no water anywhere. Getting back into the train, just in time as the signal changed from a scary red to a more mellow orange, we stood at the door for a good 30 minutes and discussed a lot of stuff.... Which ranged from life in general to Pre-marital sex.

Once we returned it was blabber with Mals all the way, and rest for Teresa on Beeks' shoulder all the way. As time went through, Beeks and Teresa shifted positions and Mals decided to rest too... Around 4 in the morning (Now it is 28th October) the usual coarse voice of the coffee vendor woke Sweet money... After which Beeks, Teresa and me decided to use full berths to sleep. And Mals slept on Sweet money's lap. Time flew by, it was 6.30 in the morning and zoom went the train into Bangalore East. The next station was where we were to get down. And before we realised we were in Bangalore Cannt. We got down from the train and had to wait for Vivek. Mals' cousin. who did come with his pretty Rajasthani wife... he whisked Mals and Night away and Beeks, Teresa, Sweet Money and me set out to a place called "Syed Inayatullah Mekhri Circle". We were to meet 'Abba' there. Yeah yeah! that is the name of the person we were to meet.

So we utilise the pre-paid auto service and get into the auto and reach mekhri circle in about 15 minutes. Time now: 07.30...

I guess I have hardly started to talk about the 60 hours. I am done with about 14 hours of it... So I guess the rest will come in two more installments. Long blogs tend to get boring to read...: D
I know coming from me it should be surprising... but it is true.... I shall continue this tomorrow... if you are interested come back....
if you are not, then wait for me start my series on philosophers again. probably next week...

Till then....

Here is a thought...
